Year-round garden – Meanwood

This garden had already been built, with narrow boundary beds to accommodate a large artificial lawn area for the lively ball-games played all year round.

We filled the beds with an array of colourful and interesting plants and flowers that could cope with a little wear and tear.

We added several clematis to clothe the fence; tall but narrow planting such as verbena and stipa gigantea with its pom-pom heads; a lilac for summer scent; added masses of spring bulbs; and even found room for 2 cordon apple trees by the seating area.
