Society of Garden Designers
The SGD is a professional garden design body, and we are proud to be members. Helping to improve standards and services in the garden design arena, the SGD does a lot to help both Garden Designers and their customers.

BALI

Perennial.org.uk
Perennial is the national charity for those who work or have worked in horticulture and their spouses / partners when they face adversity or need. This is a very important charity for us, please read more about the great work they do on their website.

NGS Gardens Open for Charity
The NGS yellow book provides a list of privately owned gardens that open their doors once or twice a year for the public to view the spectacular horticultural designs. The NGS scheme encourages community gardens and charity schemes and does a lot of great work in local communities.

Royal Horticultural Society
organisation provides the backbone of any Garden Design business. Our team is educated to RHS levels and we use the RHS website as a resource constantly. Please visit their site for useful information on every aspect of horticulture and garden design.

Natural England
This list, provided by the team at Natural England, is a great place to start planning for an outdoor adventure. If you’re looking for wild inspiration when planning your garden design then some of the places on the list could be the inspiration you have been looking for, and right on your doorstep.

RHS Shows and Events
We all like to show off every now and then and garden designers are no different. The RHS Shows and Events page lists all of the UK’s garden related events from the Chelsea flower show to your own local RHS garden event.

National Trust
The National Trust are custodians to our horticultural heritage in the UK, providing conservation and education schemes for all, and opening up and guiding us through some of Britain’s gardening heritage gems, from our national parks to stately homes up and down the county. Check out their site for up to date information.

RHS Grow Your Own
We like the RHS, can you tell? Eating healthily and looking after the environment go hand in hand in our business and the RHS provides some great information on how to design your garden to allow you to grown your own fruit and veg.

RSPB Kids
We share our gardens with thousands of species of birds in the UK. The RSPB kids program is a great way to encourage your children to get interested in the feathered visitors to your garden and the RSPB can help you plan your garden design to allow for bird friendly areas.

MW Fabrications
This is a Leeds based firm of Fabricators. They make gates to railings and more bespoke items such as garden pergolas, hanging baskets and pot stands. We recently used them to make a pergola and found them very capable of translating our design into reality. They were able to construct the pergola off site with minimum hassle to ourselves.
